You will always want to keep your vehicle in the best condition possible. Part of this includes bringing the vehicle in for regular maintenance inspections. We can check the parts and components of the vehicle to ensure that they are working efficiently and at top performance levels. If you are not sure how often to bring your vehicle in, make sure to contact us and we can advise you on a schedule. If you notice any issue between visits, it is recommended that you contact us. Having an issue fixed at the first sign can help prevent further damage being done to it, as well as a costly repair bill.

An important part to inspect are the tires. The tires are the only part that has direct contact with the surface of the road. If the tires are in poor condition, then the vehicle will also have poor mileage. You also run the risk of an unexpected breakdown. In the winter it is important to check the air pressure more often. This is because a drop in the temperature will allow the pounds per square inch to decrease as well. If the tires are ignored, you can end up with a flat tire when you will need to drive. If you are not sure what the correct air pressure should be, make sure to contact us. You can also look in the vehicle owner’s manual, or the inside door jamb of the vehicle.

Along with checking the air pressure, take a few extra minutes to check the tread wear on the tires. This can be easy and you only need a penny. Place the penny upside down in the tread of the tire. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread should be replaced. If there is uneven tread wear, the tires might benefit from an alignment or rotation. This way the tread can wear evenly as the tires rotate. Each tire can also have the same amount of tread wear as you drive. The spare tire should also be inspected to ensure it has proper inflation and also tread wear. This will allow you to have a smooth and comfortable ride.
