fall car inspections

Fall car inspections will help keep your vehicle in the best condition possible. Bring the vehicle in, and we can give it a bumper to bumper inspection. During this, any part or component that is showing signs of a problem can be resolved. It is always important to schedule an appointment whenever you hear something out of the norm with your car. Any noises or even how the vehicle handles can be one of the first signs it has an issue. By scheduling an appointment, we can check it over.

Check Under the Hood

The first thing to do is to check under the hood. This will include topping off the fluids for the vehicle. Without these, the vehicle will not be able to run efficiently. We will also check the oil for the vehicle. The oil should be changed on a regular basis. If you check the oil yourself, make sure to notice the color of it. If it looks like sludge, it is time to have the oil changed. It is always recommended to follow the correct oil change schedule. Fresh, clean oil will help keep the engine an other moving parts properly lubricated. If not, then it will put unnecessary strain on the engine.

Fall Car Inspections of the Tires

The tires are another area that need to be inspected. There are several things to check with them. The air pressure, tread wear, and overall condition of the tires are all important. You can easily check the tread by placing a penny upside down in the groove of the tire. If you can see the top of Lincoln’s head, then the tread is worn too low. Also remember to check the sidewalls of the tires for any bulges or bumps. If these are ignored, it can increase the chance of the tires blowing out. So not matter what the issue might be, make sure to contact a certified mechanic. We can schedule an appointment, and have your vehicle in to inspect it.
