Hitting potholes or any other object can do damage to parts of your vehicle. If this happens, make sure to bring your vehicle in as soon as possible so we can inspect it for any damage that may have happened.

Hitting a pothole can do significant damage to your vehicle. This can include the steering, suspension, and the tires. The tires can become damaged or punctured. There can also be damage to the tires if you hit a pothole or anything out of the norm. Other areas to worry about can include the rim of the wheels, premature wear on the shocks and struts, as well as suspension damage and broken components. There could also be damage done to the exhaust system or even the engine. Even if you think damage has not occurred, it is important to bring the vehicle in for an inspection.

After hitting a pothole, inspect the tires, rims, and undercarriage. If the wheels ram into a pothole, the sidewall of the tire may start to bulge. Hitting a pothole can also dent or puncture the undercarriage of the vehicle. This can cause fluids to leak and rust starting to form. If you notice that a fluid level needs to be replaced frequently, it is best to bring the vehicle in as soon as possible.
