Remember the Lights when Checking your Vehicle

You may remember to have your vehicle in for routine maintenance, but you should also remember to check the lights on your vehicle. They will help you to see the road when it is dark or when the weather is less than ideal. If you have to run the windshield wipers, chances are you will need the lights on. Anytime you notice an issue with the lights on the vehicle, or the vehicle itself, make sure to contact us. We can schedule you for an appointment to inspect the vehicle. By catching an issue at the first sign, you can help to prevent further issues from forming and costing you more in repair bills.

Headlights

The headlights should be bright enough to see, but not so bright they blind oncoming traffic. They should also be aimed correctly. This allows you to see from ditch to ditch, while also seeing ahead of you. When you can see in front of you, you can be aware of any objects, debris, animals, or drivers that will be in front of you. If you notice that the lights are aimed poorly, bring the vehicle in so we can properly adjust them for you. This will help to improve the visibility when you are driving.

Turn Signals

When the lights are inspected, also make sure to check the taillights of your vehicle. These will allow others to see you when you drive in front of them. If a taillight is out, is should be replaced as soon as you can. Also make sure that you check the front and rear turn signals of your vehicle. By ensure these work, those who are around you will know which direction you planning on turning, or if you are moving over a lane. This will help to improve the safety for you, your passengers, and other drives as well.
